The Gospel of Matthew says in verses 25:35-36,
"For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; I was naked, and you gave Me clothing; I was sick, and you took care of Me; I was in prison, and you visited Me."
2 Corinthians 9:7 "Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."
Calvary UMC supports many worthwhile projects. We have a food pantry, donate to the House of Carpenter, support West Virginia flood relief, comfort our shut-ins and those in care centers, and contribute to The United Methodist Church and it's worldwide outreach.
